Many creative people dream about getting paid for what they love to do, but that idea often comes with a lot of logistical overwhelm, self-doubt, and fear of failure.  It's all too easy and common to belittle the thought before even exploring what's actually possible.

Most of us build it up into a big, complicated thing like having a complex social media strategy, renting a brick and mortar store front, or cold calling every gallery in a twenty mile radius asking for the opportunity to show our work. What's more, that doesn't even begin to address what we make it mean about ourselves!

Workshop Material
Over the course of the workshop, we'll discuss a number of topics related to creativity and entrepreneurship, in addition to the all-important questions of logistical and emotional readiness. You'll meet other people who are flirting with ideas of creative entrepreneurship while building a realistic picture of what getting paid for your creative output could look like for you.

During our time together we will: 
  • Explore what logistical preparedness looks like
  • Identify and poke holes in false assumptions about entrepreneurship
  • Answer common questions like: Do I need a business plan? or What tech do I need to learn? 
  • Create a vision for what selling your work could look like
  • Identify your big fears and start learning how to manage them​
  • ​Learn how Thought Work/Mindset plays a huge, but often unacknowledged role in creative and entrepreneurial ventures.
Readiness Workbook
As part of your workshop experience, you'll also receive your own copy of the Digital Readiness Workbook. We will do some of the exercises from the workbook together during the workshop, but you are encouraged to continue using it in the days and weeks afterward. Revisit the exercises we do together and dive further into explorations of what getting paid for your creative expression could look like for you.

Meet Your Instructor
Jennifer Wade,
Multipassionate Creative
Hi, I'm Jennifer! I'm an Identity & Worthiness Coach and the owner of Lifescape Visionary. One of the things I'm passionate about is helping creative souls step fully into their creative identity. 

For me, that has meant embracing creative entrepreneurism. As a teenager, I took the professional leap by starting a business centered around my musical skills. 

Ever since then, I've been my own boss whether that's working as a performing violinist, running a private teaching studio, co-founding a musical non-profit or, more recently, working as a coach for highly sensitive creatives. 

It takes a certain amount of courage, trust, and self-belief to explore getting paid for your creative gifts and I'm here to help you find the confidence to make that possibility become a reality. What's more, this confidence will transform more than just your creative identity. ​It will boost your confidence in every area of your life! 

In my free time, you'll catch me sketching portraits, writing poetry, creating all sorts of graphic designs, experimenting in the kitchen, and deep-diving into the emerging literature about what it means to be a highly sensitive person.

  • Will the workshop be recorded for later access?
Unfortunately, no. This is a live event and key elements of the process involve interaction with other attendees. Interacting live will deepen the benefit of your experience with this material as well as make it more enjoyable all around!
  • What if I'm not sure I even want to get paid for my creativity?
Perfect! First of all, you're not alone in being unsure. Secondly, I can guarantee you that at the end of this workshop, you will have a much clearer sense of whether or not your creativity works best for you as a personal pursuit or as a potential income stream. There are no wrong answers here. 
  • Is the fee refundable?
The fee is not refundable, however if you experience an emergency on the day and are not able to attend, please let me know and I will extend a credit to you for a future workshop. ​You must contact me prior to the start of this event in order to be eligible to receive the credit.
