Overcoming Fear, Shame, and Other Limiting Beliefs
Ok, this is no small path. The grandaddy of all limiting beliefs is this: I'm not worthy. There is something inherently wrong with me.
Mantra: Just by being, I am valuable.
And once that takes root in our system (and it always does, at a very young age), it influences almost everything we do from that moment forward whether we are consciously aware of it or not.
We work to protect our weakness and soothe our hurts when protection didn't quite cut it.
But can you imagine living a life where you fundamentally trust your worthiness? Can you imagine living a life where you don't feel the need to hide parts of yourself away from the eyes of others, where trusting your intuition to make deeply personal choices for yourself is the loudest voice in your head, drowning out the conditioned voices you've heard since you were a child?
This is scary. It makes you feel really vulnerable.
Limiting beliefs include: I can't, I shouldn't, it doesn't work for me, there's something wrong with me, I'm different (in a negative way), Limiting beliefs are ALWAYS fueled by fear.
This will have to be the body of stuff talking about the hard shit. Maybe quote from your own article/blog post? Maybe mention Brene Brown and Tara Brach and maybe other people?
