The Mind-Body Coaching Pathway
Western medicine is rapidly deepening its scientific understanding of the mind-body connection. Leading researchers in this field have widely documented how mental and emotional states can translate directly to the physical body and vice versa.
When we acknowledge that connection, we start to understand how to influence one through the other. The mind, through meditation, can calm the body. The body, through mindfulness and understanding it's language, can help calm the mind. The "way in" for all of this is breath. There is no more powerful natural way to calm the body or mind than through the practice of deep, intentional breathing. Meditation isn't simply a spiritual practice, there are numerous proven health benefits, as well.
