A note on travel: The closest significant airport to Hatteras Island is Norfolk International Airport. The drive time from the airport to the retreat location is approximately 2.5 hours. The drive time from Washington, DC without traffic is approximately 5.5 hours. Amtrak provides multiple trains daily from Washington, DC to Norfolk.

Group pickup and drop-off to/from Norfolk Amtrak Station or the Norfolk International Airport can be cheerfully arranged for an additional fee of $75 per person.

Just So We're Clear . . .
If you cancel on or before October 9, 2017 you will be cheerfully refunded 50% of the trip cost. Any cancellation made between October 10, 2017 and the start of the retreat will unfortunately result in a total loss of funds. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it does not meet the trip minimum of five people (if we do so, your payment is refunded in full). We also reserve the right to cancel the trip due to any weather-related safety concerns – primarily, in event of a hurricane or other closure of the island. Again, if we do so, your payment will be refunded in full.
